Entering college in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic made for an exceptionally peculiar year. Nevertheless, it provided an opportunity to embrace a fresh experience in a different location.
This was one of my first hackathons, working together with several teammates to create a fully functional application within a tight deadline. The competition pushed us to step out of our comfort zones, put our skills to the test, and think creatively under intense pressure. Despite the obstacles we encountered, our efforts paid off with a commendable third-place finish at the APEC 2020 App Challenge, competing against talented developers globally

After being involved in the Digital Makers Asia Pacific for about a year, the community was officially launched at the APEC CEO Summit prior to the handover of APEC’s chairing to Thailand, the APEC 2022 host economy. DMAP receives support from the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, The Asia Foundation, and Google. The community's recognition on the global stage makes the culmination of years of dedicated work by its members.
In collaboration with the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District and Central Atlanta Progress, this project marked the culmination of my involvement with Design Bloc. The aim of this case study was to delve into the relational dynamics of Woodruff Park and explore potential strategies to alleviating homelessness in Atlanta, Georgia.

Launched at the 2022 APEC Economic Leaders' Week in Bangkok, Let's Code Thailand was an incredible public-private computer science education initiative aimed at empowering the future generation in Thailand. The program set out to provide coding skills opportunities to 1,000 students, opening doors to digital literacy and technological expertise. This represented a joint effort by APEC Thailand 2022; the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand; Digital Makers Asia Pacific; The Asia Foundation, and Google
My experience working on the Envision project was incredibly transformative. Collaborating with a dedicated team, we set out to revolutionize access to real-time information for healthcare professionals. This experience not only enhanced my design skills but also deepened my passion for leveraging technology to make a positive difference in the medical field.
During my time as part of AccessCORPS, I was involved in the process of developing surveys to effectively capture the wide diversity of student disabilities at Georgia Tech in order to have a more comprehensive understanding of how to improve course curriculum. By evaluating course content through the lenses of bodily, sensory, social, cognitive, emotional, experiential, and environmental diversity, this collaborative effort aimed to break down barriers and create an inclusive learning experience that promotes equity and equal opportunities for all learners.
With a focus on cognitive science and educational technology, this project sought to tackle the obstacles faced in cooking knowledge acquisition for teenagers. Key concepts introduced include community-based learning and gamification. I was the lead designer behind the mobile application.
After my previous internship experience, I couldn't wait to rejoin the dynamic and innovative environment that AWS offers. Being back at AWS meant continuing my professional growth, building upon the knowledge and skills I acquired during my previous tenure. I am grateful for the chance to further contribute to the impactful work being done at AWS and to be part of a team that is shaping the future of technology.
I had the amazing opportunity to lead logistical support and communications for the 2023 APEC App Challenge. This involved coordinating a comprehensive mentorship program among DMAP members to support participants, as well as communicating information between program stakeholders and participants. This year's app challenge hosted a record 200+ participants across APEC's global economies, where the finalists will be featured at the 2023 SME Ministerial Meeting in Seattle, Washington.
